Default 1972 Stingray a good deal or NOT?

Here is the.car
Complete C3 base model 350/th400, number match, little over 100k, interior is good, no major rust, chrome is good, needs some brake work and paint but it is complete and not beat up. Worth $6500 or not for a chrome bumper stingray. Its for my wife since she hates my C4.

If it is what you are saying, I will take it if you do not want it. Yes... hell yes.

Wow, why are you still responding to posts on the forum. I would be outside the house of the owner with the $$$. All joking aside, do you know enough about these cars to inspect the problem areas? Serious rust in the known areas will render your great deal into a money pit!!! Good luck!! Ike

Look at the 10 things to know sticky and see if you are sure about the rust.Th original post was quoted so yo can find it reposted further into the comments. Again as stated, if it doesnt have rust and a dead body in it, its a hell of a deal!!!

Thanks guys for all your input. I plan to take my race ramps on Saturday before the $ changes hands and get a good look under the car. Not sure I will be able to remove the kick plates to check out the cage mounts so is there any way to see part of that while under the car? From what I could see laying on the ground the frame just has minor surface rust and nothing flaking at all, looks same as my 2014 Ford truck. The car was originally from CA and landed here on the east coast a few years ago so I hope it all checks out.

Oh the door that opens when the wipers run is not opening, trying to, but not going up so is it Okay to pull it open to look down inside better for rust?

If it's as clean as you say that is $25k all day long here in the UK. I sold one of the same year and spec but 35k miles 6 months ago for $30k

While the door is trying to open I have assisted mine. Ask the owner if he minds or have him do it . If the motor was off and the actuator removed you could push the linkage in to get it to open as well
