Rear end locked

I just bought a 78 that’s been languishing in a garage since 2005. The rear tires don’t want to turn. I removed the brake pads thinking they were the problem and that did nothing. Any suggestions? It acts like it’s in gear but it’s in neutral.

separate the 1/2 shafts from the diff at the diff yokes. See if the diff is locked up or if the outer axles move

1.There is a hole in the rear of the backing plate to back off the starwheel....it's in the service manual.
2. Rap the rotor edge on with an 8lbs 'lumping hammer'...this will probably free it up.
