I was a kid across street neighbor had that 59. I swore one day I would have one. Closest I got was 62 Impala coupe. 50 bucks with a hit rear quarter.

I like stupid pictures....And 59 s. Found a few projects over the years, most resemble Swiss cheese, so I have moved on.

My dad had a 59 Chevy like that. His first new car and a very bad wind storm blew a 60 foot chimney on top of it. From the dash forward the car was perfect. From the dash back, the car was only 24 inches high!. Lou.

Nice. My family got a kick out of that. My 16 y.o. quizzed me about what it was. It looked familiar but it stumped me. He called it right away.
