My GM original stereo radio works for FM/AM but not for tape or CB. Anybody our there that can repair them or put new modern internals in? Power antenna does not go up or down either, found replacement on Ecklers but not for CB.

Robert Pacini . Precision Stereo Repair. Great guy. Knows his stuff. Refurbished/ Hot Rodded the AM/FM/CB for my 1980. Added an MP3 jack to the back . Works great. I know other Forum members would agree. He is reasonable too. For the Antenna... keep an eye on eBay. There is an AC Delco CB mast on eBay now but it is quite pricey. I kept looking until I found one priced reasonably. Looks 100% factory.
The only problem is my old 8 tracks sound like crap because the tapes degrade. I am not sure what you can do about that. Just crank up the distorted Aerosmith and pretend you are back in high school.
