$148.5k was the total sale and auction fee for the buyer.

Interesting, listed as '68 but has eggcrates, no door buttons, key in the column, map pockets....I get it, it's a custom.

Black wheels. I seriously dislike black wheels. They just disappear as soon as the car is rolling, why would someone spend so much money on those custom wheels only to have them become invisible once the car is moving? I know it's built to a taste buy...damn! I seriously dislike black wheels!

I suppose it is just individual taste as I think they look awesome on this car.

I watched it last night, wasn't impressed with car, didn't like the way tires set in the wheel well.

They also had on time selling it, cause owner wouldn't release the reserve, and Mecum tried, and then agreed with her terms, not his, he tries to make the deal, whatever it takes, you have to say about the guy.

I like the look but I also am not a fan of black wheels but it is the current fad I hope it will fade over time. I also just don't get how people spend over 100k building a car and not install the $30 headlight shields.

Estimate per Mecum was $200,000 to $235,000. So, it made less than 75% of the estimate.
