Stoudt's Auto Sales Done?
I was in Reading PA today and as usual, I cruised by Stoudt's, a well known Corvette seller here in the Northeast and one of the oldest specialists in the country. "Stoudt's" name was off the building (their iconic neon sign was still up) and there were zero cars of any sort in the lot, with three or four Corvettes in the garage. I never bought a Corvette from them, but have been window shopping there for over forty years. Place was always immaculate and they only dealt in quality cars.
Anyone know what's up?

Interesting.... Hope it is just a clean up the parking lot weekend. I purchased my Z06 (Sight unseen other than pics) from them back in Dec 2014. There were fantastic to deal with! I had flown in from MO and the flights were messed up due to weather, they had a driver meet me at the airport and waited for me to get there (way after hours) Walked in and had car ready to go! The car was as great as described and no regrets what so ever. If they are gone, thank you for your many years of supporting the Corvette Community. PS, I still have the Stoudt's "Wrap your *** in Fiberglass" T Shirt framed/hung on the wall!

I got my 09 there, and just had it there back in November for inspection. They've only had half a dozen Corvettes at any time for a couple years now. The place is still empty and the website shows only one C4. I was hoping they were just moving to a new location or something, but it isn't looking good. They were an iconic fixture around here, and great guys to deal with. I guess nothing lasts forever.

Called aging out of the business, unless someone behind the owner is willing to pick up the torch of the family business they just go away.
