Just installed a set of 4 hood bumpers purchased from one of our vendors..
I added them bc the PO had removed them..
My ? is what am I supposed to be looking for in the alignment of the hood vs the fender seams????
Not even sure why they were included with the build?
The only thing I notice is that the drivers side section of hood close to the front and matching side of the fender is not flush with each other?
TIA

That is what the bumpers are for, to align the hood with the fenders so that they are even. This is were I needed to place the bumpers on my
wife's 73 so that the top of the hood matched the the top of the fender.
Tx for the input Donnie and that's what I was thinking...And mine are installed exactly where the glue marks are from the missing ones??
Should I just remove them and leave it like it was before I put then in bc then all hood and fender seams were perfectly even??

Before making any changes that adjust the way the hood latches, it might be worthwhile to run a pair of backup hood release lines with some 550 cord, or similar. That way, your next post isn't "How do I open my stuck hood".
