Hi everyone i have a c3 and going to reupholster my seats and dont know the year of the track. This car had mixed match parts so im not sure of what covers and foam i should order. The track numbers on the bottom are 3499 and i cant find any info on what year that would be. So if anybody can help that would be realy helpful. I know there's a lot of smart people on this web sight and know someone knows. Thanks a bunch

Can you post pics of the top and bottom seat frames? That will identify which C3 range to look at for cushions and covers.

The 349th day of either 1969 or 1979. I am not sure of any differences between the 69 and 79.

Well if you look them up on a vendors website. You'll see that 68- 71 is one part number, then a few more, till 78, then they changed completely with the clam shell seats. Not much of a photo of the track however.

I don't know if this thread answers your questions, but it's somewhere to start.

You are correct... The orientation of the rear mounting bracket leads me to believe that this is a 1968-1971 style seat track. As such, the date would be the 349th day of 1969 (December 15, 1969). Almost certainly too late to be installed on a 1969 Corvette, it would have gone on a very early 1970 Corvette.

A photo of the seat track that would include the complete assembly would confirm the configuration.
