I can't get 12 volts to the just installed new fuel pump. However I do get 8.5 volts which some people think is for the gauge on the dash. I even still get 8.5 volts with the 10 AMP fuel pump fuse removed. I have yet to remove the ground cable and clean it up however I can't find any corrosion. I also installed a new fuel pump relay hoping to cure the problem with no luck. I can hear the relay come to life when I turn the key to "on". The engine cranks over well. I just ordered shop manual. I also plan on removing all fuses to clean them. Thank you for your thoughts. Roger from Hamburg NY
The passenger door is not opening at all. The driver's door is. However, both the power locks are not working at all. I checked the fuses. The GM shop manual page 2D-10 says the internal circuit breaker will reset after running the car 1 to 3 minutes, I tried the round key in both doors and the driver's door lock worked properly but the passenger side was unresponsive. I'm hoping the 1 to 3 minutes produces results. Any ideas?
