I am new to the forum and was wondering if anyone can help me identify the name of this part? i am new to the resto project and the door lock cylinders were loose. I bought new cylinders but on the driver side it looks like im missing some type of linkage that connects to the cyliner? below i put an image of what it looked like on the passenger side. I have gone all over the web looking for this part but i cannot find it.
The part im looking for is a round plastic that attatches to the door locking cylinder and it goes in between the pawl for the 1981 power door lock model. I havent been able to find a diagram with that round piece

Could that piece you're looking for actually be part of the lock cylinder itself? You may not be able to find one by its self. You might try looking for one on a similar year GM car at a salvage yard...
I'm not totally sure what piece you are referring to, do you have a picture of the driver side part? If its made of plastic I'm curious if it could be 3D printed?
