Tach calibration generator needed
I just installed an electronic tach upgrade in my 73. Have been trying to buy a TL-182 signal generator. Nobody seems to have one or info on when one would become available. I'd really like to get it back on the road. If anyone has one to sell or rent please let me know. Thank you.

How handy are you? Could you use a PWM signal generator, or program an Arduino/Teensy to do what you want?

Temporarily wire your tach up to your car with testing jumper wires, and place the tach so that you can reach the adjusting pot. Use a digital timing light with RPM readout, fire up engine and go from there.
