T-top weatherstripping
Hi,
Anybody who has info about changing weatherstrips on silver mirrored T-tops.
What's the best way to remove the weatherstrips without damaging the silvercoating. Is it possible to re-use the strips or does someone has a adress for new strips. On new weatherstrips is there also a iron strip in it?

Be VERRRRRRY Careful, do not PRY on any of it. I got mine off of the drivers side and got a little cocky  I then spent two months driving around topless until I found a passenger side to replace the one i broke :U
$400 later and a fairly close match.
Take your time and remember its glass, you know how you can drop a bottle on the floor and it will bounce 6 or 7 times but shatter on the last little bump
I got an aftermarket set of weatherstriping from The Last Detail for about 80 bucks. I sure the more expensive sets are a bit more plyable (softer) tese seemed stiff but they work ok. Yes they have the metal strip inside, they have holes to remount the screws and they have little plastic nubs that go into little holes around the frame. You may also have to loosen the tabs that slip into the t bar and screw the rubber toped bolt in a bit to compensate for the new stripping.
Good luck

The stuff is made by 3M and is weatherstrip adhesive remover. Most good auto parts shops will carry it. It is slow but it works.
