F/S Complete Stereo System, Don't Cut That Bezel!
Team,
I've upped the ante and decided to install a high power head unit/amp/sub combo to shake the ground even a little bit more...I've removed my existing system intact. Consists of 100W Digital AM-FM/Cassette player HU, 1 pair 220W 6x9 speakers (mounted), and a 2-channel 240W amp (mounted).
Full system: $300
Individual Parts:
Head Unit: $150
Speakers/Enclosures: $150
Amp: $30
Reasonable Offers considered; Actual Shipping Extra
I recently purchased and installed it in my '79. all parts are as new, with very little play time on the tape deck. All systems work perfectly and sound is pretty good too. CD or iPod plugs into the aux in-line. This is the ideal set-up for the casual listener who wants some features an decent sound but doesn't want to cut the bezel. You will need to furnish a high quality set of RCA wires to connect the HU to the amp, and, if needed, an in-line filter from the alternator to reduce tape-deck whine...otherwise the unit is complete and ready to install.
Radio/Cassette Player HU - Direct fit replacement from Ken Harrison Enterprises
Specs:

look for "1977-82 STEREO WITH BLACK FACE, 100W"
I will ship HU packed in original carton with all paperwork. It comes complete with harness ready to install. An adaptor has been attached to the system wiring (solder and wrap) so it's ready to plug into the original wiring and go. Harness includes in line noise filter.
Also a pair of Pioneer TS-G950M 6x9 (220W) rear speakers installed in pressure fit corner plywood enclosures covered with heavy carpeted felt. The "pressure fit" is adequate but a proper install with anchors of some sort should be done to firmly attach the enclosures to the back wall of the storage area:
Also, a Pyramid 240W 2-channel amp mounted on a felt covered piece of 1/2" plywood that fits snugly in the center hole of the 3 bin storage unit in the rear; all wiring hides in the space below giving a clean look.
I will list this on the forum for a few days then it's off to the auction block.
Many thanks...please forward any questions,
Steve

Thanks Mana...got your note.
FYI speaker "enclosures" are meant for use in 78-82, press fit into the rear of the storage area. System will certainly work in earlier years as long as the HU fits in the bezel, but the speakers would have to be mounted differently.
Thanks, Steve
