Not sure about the casting but have e-mailed back and forth about this engine- It's on racing junk-located in Ohio--seems like a nice guy-gives phone number and e-mail if interested.

1968 427 390hp corvette engine original carb to pan all orginal matching numbes i have owned this engine for 39 years older complete rebuild with about 3000 miles on it original steel crank is std 10 to 1 cr crane cam original cam like new goes with it 80 pounds oil pressure runs clean and is strong now has a holley750 and wiend intake on top but have the original quadrajet and intake i took a monie of it running just before i pulled it from my 66 chevelle i have owned since new. engine was professionally maintained and the oil never was dirty gaurenteed to be ok
