SSBC Force 10 Calipers
I have a set of SSBC Force 10 Front Calipers part #A109-1
http://www.ssbrakes.com/products/det...ette&year=1969
Chevrolet Corvette 1969
Front Force 10 4-Piston Aluminum Caliper Disc Brake Kit
Direct bolt-on Force 10 Extreme 4-piston aluminum calipers with 48mm pistons.
General Specs:
Part Number A109-1
Retail Price $888.00
Minimum Wheel Size 16"
Axle Front
Caliper Specs:
Name Force 10 Extreme
Number of Pistons 4
Piston Size 48mm
Constructed From Aluminum
Standard Finish Clear Anodized
Optional Finishes Polished or Powder Coated
I bought these off a guy that said he installed them once and had to remove them because his stock wheels (15's) would not fit. He said he ran fluid through them, and that was it. I never installed them, just decided to go with a full setup, frnt/rear, from another company. These are a really nice replacement caliper. They weigh in at about 9 lbs. each, with pads, and are designed for quick pad replacement. Removal of the caliper is not needed. You just pull the locked pins out, pull the pads out the top, and drop your new ones in. Looking to get like $600 shipped, OBO. Thats $250 less than from SSBC.
