These would work for a 454 also, right? Wish I hadn't already done mine or I'd have jumped on these. I used forged steel hypereutectic flat top pistons on the advice of some people who said that the domed ones wouldn't do well on pump gas due to detonation. Others said other wise. The flat tops reduced my compression ratio from 10.5:1 to maybe a bit more than 9.5:1 CR and runs great on super unleaded 93 octane without pinging.

427 and 454 pistons do not interchange. They have difference pin locations since the stroke is different and the same rods are used.
