Those bezels have the year cast into the backside of the rolled lip. If you want really correct ones for your '70, I have some, but you will need to have them rechromed. Chromers can grind out the pits caused by the exhaust fumes and re-plate, which I have done several times with originals. It's nice to have the proper casting dated parts over service replacements.

Would be cheaper to buy after market newies than get them rechromed.

Very true. Paragon Corvette makes a nice reproduction piece out of stainless steel. It should not pit from exhaust fumes like original pot metal ones do.
