FS Big Block Chevy engine
440 Cu in BB Chevy engine that is actually a 454 block 60 over, with a 427 GM steel crank, which turns into a high reving 440 ci. It has a 6223 steel crank, turned .010 / .010, Eagle rods (7/16 bolts / 800 horse rated),
rotating assembly balanced and blue printed, Wiseco true fit 10.5 to 1 pistons, and a new 8 inch damper and damper bolt. The block is casting #361959, 4 bolt main block with no sleeves, hot tanked, new cam
bearings, new freeze plugs, preasure tested, decked, ARP main studs, cam valley is screened. The heads are the better oval port heads ( #336781). They have a 5 angle valve job with 2.250 Manley Proflow intake and 1.880 Manley Proflow exhaust valves, bronze guides, the valve springs, keepers and spring locks are matched to the cam. The cam is a Comp Cams mechanical flat tappett with .595 lift, 110 center line and Comp Cams lifters and pushrods. It has a Cloyes true double roller timing chain.
Stainless steel roller rocker arms. Edelbrock oval port air gap alum intake with rebuilt 780 Holley carb, aluminum Weiand water pump, chrome timing cover and GM erformance Parts cast aluminum valve covers, Milodon 8 qt oil pan, Milodon oil pump and oil pump pickup assembly, hardened oil pump drive, Milodon windage tray, fuel pump block off, ARP head bolts.
Only reason I'm selling is to buy a ZL-1 block.............
Engine is brand new, never fired, built with THE BEST parts.
