I have an original pair off my '70. They are pitted in the chrome and would need to be stripped, polished and rechromed. But they are original, the pits don't go all the way through (plenty of metal left), and there are no cracks or chips in them.

Let me know if you are interested.

That's true for the exhaust tip but the exhaust bezel is the surround attached to the fiberglass. I'm not looking for the exhaust tip extension. I'm looking for the bezel.

Thanks for the heads up.

I wouldn't want to jeopardize your restoration at my expense. Thanks for offering.

How do I know if they are original?

I think mine are original...I can't read the numbers clearly
but does 306654 and 306055R look reasonable?
I could have missed some numbers.

Mine are 3966544RH and 3966543LH and both have a 69 for the date code. (These are from a 1st day production '70.) As I noted in my PM, you need to send me a valid e-mail address if you want pics.

The part you are looking for GM quit making in 2003 and the last list price was $100.
Good luck with your search as this part has been pitted on all the Corvettes I have owned.
