WTB: BBC Hooker sidepipes.
Let me know if you're selling. They don't have to be in perfect shape, I plan on having them hi-temp powdercoated.
Thanks

hehe, maybe I should re-phrase. I need them. I'm pulling a small block and small block exhaust out of my car. I can't fire up the new engine when it gets here until I have my sidepipes.

Steve. Have you checked with Summit for prices on just the BB headers painted? I'm going tomorrow and will ask if you want. JCL   :chevy "Sidepipes are the way"

Re: WTB: BBC Hooker sidepipes. (Steve Straus)
I am new to the forum and up until now have'nt even considered sidepipes but........All this talk about sidepipes has kinda got me thinking! A couple of questions for you all.
What do you 68-73 owners do with the cutouts in th exhaust panel?
What is the average going rate for used Hooker side pipes for a big block?
On my 73, would I ahve to remove the rocker moldings to run them?
Do the sidepipes get hot enough near the door to burn you or do they have heat shields?
Do any of you have a picture of a 73 with them that would help me decide if I want to go this way?
Thanks
