Default WTB or WTR Crossmember Repair tool

Looking for one of these tools and seeing if anyone has one laying around they would be willing to sell or even rent. I know zips has them, I just wanted to try and find a better deal than paying $149 for a one-time use tool.

I'd like to get in on this if a rental is available. Look for a PM from me.

Default Dent Removal Tool

There was a thread on this topic where a forum member bought the tool and wrote a very detailed description of how to use it. I also think he was going to play it forward. Do a search on dent removal and I am sure you will find it. The tool may still be out west but it is worth a try to see where it is.

Maybe we need more than one moving about the country!

I posted in that thread your reffering to a few times this recently with very little response or help.

Three problems with that thread:

1. Pic links are dead

2. Last post (before me) was back in 2007 so I'm not sure if the OP is active on the site anymore. I think he last posted back in January.

3. The tool "vanished" in thin air between users, and no one knows where it's at nor has replied about it in a few years.

I may buy it and rent it out, but if I do I'm going to want a $75 - 100 refundable deposit upon safe return so someone doesn't try to scam me. I trust myself, just not other people .....as it was obvious in that thread with it dissapearing.

You can buy the dent removal tool from Terry. He is the inventor. Give him an email tfringo@aol.com
I'm not trying to take the sale from the vendors but I'm sure they sell enough of them. Just trying to help out the forum members.
Thanks, Grant

Thanks for the info, I sent him an email about an hour ago, hopefully he'll respond pretty quick. I priced it at a vendor last night and it was going to be $167 shipped to my house

I'm fighting with myself because my dent isn't THAT bad to warrant spending the money on this. I need new fuel lines and would rather spend the cash on that.

Hopefully zip has a high mark-up and Terry has a better price, if so I'm sold.

Thanks again

Ouch, that's not any better than the vendor. I was hoping he would have passed the vendor mark-up savings back on to us.

I don't frequent the board very often. I have difficulty navigating it. I never looked at the date of the posting.
