May I ask why you removed the exhaust system after you had it made for you? What brand are the mufflers?

I was spending too much time and money on the vette and not enough with my family so I decided to part it out. I also needed to make room in my garage for my motorcycle. The mufflers are flowmasters.

I will sell them for $600 shipped BUT if you read the rest of my posts on here you will see that they are the headers with the 2.5" collector and do not fit a stock exhaust and require a custom front Y pipe. let me know if you still want them.

So did you go with the 2" collector or the 2.5" collector? BTW my headers are still like new and unmolested

Still curious to know if you went with the 2.5" and if so did they change them so they bolt up to the stock exhaust?

The McJacks 2.5" wont bolt up to the stock front Y pipe on a 76 and when i talked to Jack the other day he said only the stock 72 and earlier 2.5" exhaust system would work with them or a custom 2.5" system like what you are running. When i ordered these headers i also order the 2.5" performance system for a 76 from Mid America to bolt up to these headers and as you can see from my pictures the performance system isnt a true 2.5" system and it didnt come close to bolting up to the headers which is why i had the exhaust built for these headers and its 2.5" all the way back.
