7042211 = 72 350 1/2 ton truck carb
Your correct, if the last number is odd the carb was meant to go on a stick and even numbers were for automatics.
This carb was on my 74 with a Th400 when I bought it in 2000 and I used it for 10 trouble free years. After Lars rebuilt it I used it for a few more months and found carb #7044207 which is closer to the correct number for my 74 but it two is listed for a stick.
I'm not sure what the difference is between stick or auto.
