Default Beware of member/seller "06z06_427"

Buyer beware we have a cheat on this forum..

I had purchased a set of front stop tech brakes set for $1500.00 from him on this forum and he seemed to be easy to deal with even texting me when he received the money i sent him thru paypal. he stated to me that he would be shipping 2 nd day air...but that was back on july 24..... i have not received anything from this guy...

i have tried everything and he has not returned a call, email , PM or text

it seem that this guy has done this before with some exhaust back a few weeks back.. Please if anyone has any info on this guy please forward it or post here..

what we can't have on this forum is LOOSER LIKE THIS GUY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF GOOD HONEST MEMBERS..

Lets try and keep this relevant to THIS dispute. If anyone else has a dispute with the seller they need to start their own thread. No postings of suggested hostilities or personal info will be tolerated. If you have something helpful for the OP and it contains personal info please use the PM function.

If you used a credit card through paypal, which undoubtedly you did, report it as a fraudulent charge and file an affidavit against him on the local precinct.

It's cheap to do. To find out more info on the guy use www.pipl.com

The credit card company will help, but Paypal alone probably won't matter. I had a dispute on a screwed up transmission a couple of years ago that I purchased from a CF member and they just contacted the seller. He denied the condition. Good Luck!

As long as you have messages detailing the transaction and no ship history from the seller, paypal will almost certainly help you. They have helped me out 3 times in the past with disputed charges that were resolved relatively quickly.

To the OP your safe no worries at all on this one. Paypal and cc company gives you three months to enter a dispute. Thanks for the heads up on this POS thief. Wish you all the best on getting this matter resolved

I was one of the first people he tried selling an akrapovic exhaust to.. When I said no he made a post on them and tried to screw someone there. I think he sent me some private info on my personal email but I can't check it at work.

I will check it when I get home and update later if I have anything worth while.

^^yes, he is relentless. A while back he still tried to sell me the exhaust stating I could have a forum member close to him check it out (in hopes of me sending $$ without confirming). He still was insisting he was in law enforcement.

He should be banned from this site.

Default stop techs

Well guys i am petty sure that this guy is a cheat and a scam artist... he has not returned any of the calls or emails,,, i have had a bunch of the c6 members pm me telling me that he has tried to scam them also...I have contacted PayPal and place a fraud report .... i used the balance that i had in my PayPal account..... I hope that Paypal can do something...

But the biggest thing that needs to be done is that this Forum gets the word out so this scam artist cant keep on scamming other members...

Thanks guys.. And keep sending me any info you may have..

Did you report your charge as fraudulent? That's the best help. Card companies go hard core?

You got a real name? I know a P.I. Maybe I can find something

Default He tried to get me too!

He PM'd me with an offer of 2011 C6 Chrome Wheels & Tires with Tire Presssure Sensors DELIVERED for $1,100.00 TOTAL. Too good to be true and it was. I used PAYPAL & Master Charge & filed a Fraud report within 6 days when he stopped responding to my emails, PMs, & phone call requests. Thank goodness PAYPAL covered my $1,100.00 DISPUTE!!!

I've been on here over 10 years and this is the FIRST time anyone on here tried to scam me!!! Not good and definitely Un - American !!!

I have made this thread a stickey so that it will not fall off page 1.

I have placed the members account in moderation, which will prevent him for creating a new thread or posting a reply. If I were to ban him, he would not be able to answer any PM's for follow up.

I have copied this thread to the other sale sections.

I would recommend the buyer that you do some leg work on this seller as information is readily available.

Default Fraud

It sucks that you were taken by a thief. I'm a Philadelphia P/O and my advice to you is to make a fraud report with your local Police. They will investigate it, and ask anyone with information concerning the thief's identity to you and you can forward it to the investigator.
