...I've literally crawled under a 100+ 1968 Corvettes and I do not ever remember seeing a '68 Corvette in the 25,000+ range or less that had the kick-ups(rear gussets).
...is it possible this was not an original frame to the body from which it was removed???

...above the driver's side halfshaft there should be a stamped VIN# and also where the driver's door rocker would be(I think).
