Just ordered the Deluxe Poly Front-End kit! Can't wait for them to arrive so I can get started on this project!

Wilcox, I'm having a weatherstripping issue that the sale in this thread might be able to help me with. The previous owner of my 79 had some new weatherstripping for the T-Tops that he never put on. The original weatherstripping was in bad shape, so I switched it out. I'm pretty sure it was this set from ZIP (http://www.zip-corvette.com/ProductDetails/StyleMasterDetails.aspx?pid={18C0DC05-8297-410B-B410-84B80A08DB35}&gid={4DAB9E30-9867-4F40-82A3-A5BBFBB8DBFF}&pname=77L-82+T-Top+Panel+Weatherstrip&Referer=&Alias=&p tct=SGR-SR&CTitle=&). The tops take a LOT of effort to fit into place. One won't fit properly and I have to push it to the point where it is bending a bit to even get it to lock sort of into place. I've heard good things about the weatherstripping that you sell. Is what I'm going through normal for new weatherstripping, or would your kit make the tops easy to install while still being waterproof? Can I get just the T-Top weatherstripping, or would I need to order the whole set for the whole car? Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance for your help. Although, if I end up buying some weatherstripping from you, I won't feel too bad

One issue is that I don't know what brand they carry.

One thing to consider is: were the tops adjusted with the old weatherstrips in poor condition. If so then this may explain your current situation. I think I would go to our help page at this link and take a hard look at possibly re-adjusting the tops.

Sure they will be snug when you install them but to a point of bending the top, no.

This may be just what I need! I bought the AIM, but I always think to look here first. Old habits die hard.

Zip's site says it's EPDM weatherstripping. I didn't know if that was a type or brand and figured you would know more than I do

Side note, I might be needing a tach circuit board soon, and will order it from you guys when I do since you guys make them yourselves

I will give the adjustments a shot. Thanks again!

On the tach board, I can not sell it any cheaper, I make this part and I can't undercut my distributors.
The pillar weatherstrips are 2.00 cheaper on the forum special section.

The difference is this: Normally when we run a sale it is only for the forum special section parts. The current sale running is for the entire sight.

I had to drill out the holes for the adjustment screws and the part that receives the extending part of the top to get them to fit right, but I got it to work. Thanks for the help!

As promised, I did order a new tach board from your website a day or two ago. Hopefully now my tach won't have ADHD
