Hey Bill, I'm 12 miles north of Dixie speedway, I was reading this and thinking it is such a steal, I should buy it. Problem is I don't have anything to put it in.
Looks like all the right stuff!

The one that buys this engine is going to buy it because it is one hell of a deal not because of dyno soecs. The parts and configuration speaks for itself. This engine is the real deal with quality parts. If I add the components and dyno tune it, its worth at least $12k. I've just saw a similar set-up complete drop in for$ 17k
Thanks

If you did dyno the thing, someone would bitch the engine is the wrong color or you used AC plugs instead of champion.
In the meantime, someone will buy it and get one hell of a deal, even if he buys it for parts.

When this motor didnt sell on this forum and several others after a week, i decided to put in on the famous auction site to test the waters on the market for hot rod engines. I listed it for best offer and it sold very quickly for $7500. Theres a few hurt feelings but you guys knew what kind of a deal this was and you should have moved on it. Thanks all and good luck !!

Dang, did a search on "that auction site" and couldn't find the listing. Then checked completed listings and couldn't find it. How was it titled in the auction?

Yeah, not sure how it was listed, I had a family member handle it. Evidentially a race team that runs alerted alcohol bought it and very happy with the price. I lost a ton but thats life I guess.
