Wtb 71 exhaust tips

Melting Slicks
You know these are almost impossible to find and that there are 3 different versions, not including the ones with the parts numbers stamped in them(which are not factory original). Do you know which version you need?
You most likely will be better off picking up a set from Richard Fortier, he reproduces them to factory standards and factory chrome. Not cheap either, but for originals you will end up paying that much or more to find NOS or rusty pieces that need fixing.
Good Luch, I know I spent a lot of time and money on my 72 tips.

Hi Javier,
I agree with jh's suggestion that Richard Fortier makes exhaust tips that are generally regarded as the most authentic appearing reproductions.
The construction of them mimics the originals, and, they are not overly prepped for plating, so the plating looks quite like the originals too.
If you're interested let me know and I'll send you his number or, if you search this Forum you'll see mention of him and his exhaust tips.
Regards,
Alan
I bought a set a couple of years ago and I think they're quite something.
