I see your squirrel lost his nuts,
Times are tough
I would love to have that engine in my 6/'68 coupe.
It would cost me 8 grand just to ship it to the US of A.
Hope some local rowdy's can help you out on the sale.
Happy A day.

Well, I guess we will have to have some words with that George guy.
I thought it was a funny avatar.
I wasn't aware of the neutering/spaying rule for all animal avatars.
I did not realize it is that reasonable to ship?

That is worth every bit of 8K.....with the fuel system selling for 3k +
alone.....

Even though the carbs are incorrect...it would make a great restoration motor.....

Good Luck

Thanks Jebby I've had a few of your Countrymen express an interest but when it comes to shipping they ALL pull out.............Welcome to my world of importing

I've had 3 boxes of about 10lbs sent out to me in the last couple of weeks and they were between $120us and $200us postage each........but when I tell a prospective buyer that the 800lb box they might be looking to import back the States might cost them $5-600(sea freight)I never hear from them again

Some of the guys over there don't know how good they have it

Offer to ship it for the shipping fee. Most people (including me) wouldn't know where to begin and would never believe it could be shipped for a few hundred dollars. Beautiful engine by the way. Good Luck.

I've priced it out for a few guys and scared them off Also some guys have done their own legwork.

Shipping/crating would be over a thousand US. Give or take.

$400au to crate(must be quarantine specific)
$600us approx to ship sea freight(can vary, with location)
Then there are the taxes, duties(defendant on the price you declare....$1000us for a rebuilder ),and Customs brokers/Freight Forwarder fees.

The shipping, duties, and brokers fees are all relevant to how well you know your people

Of all the people who have contacted me, not one person has asked me would I "look after them on price a bit" of course I would......but I'm not giving it away either

Should it not sell, it will end up with a pair of open chamber heads on it and finding a spot in the engine bay of my Daily Driver.......'67 El Camino
