OK, I'll bite. I have a 70 LS-5 and I am missing the TCS as well.

What could be the difference between my year and yours? I thought I found a source online for these for about $100 but don't have that handy.

I haven't found many people who know much about these things.

Yes the 1970 is different. The TCS I am looking for is 1997411, only used for 1973/74 454 4speed. The ones for the 1970 are more easy to find. The $100 sounds too low, I was planning on spending way way more than that.

Default Find one

I was wondering if you have found the TCS yet.

Also, I am not sure where yours mounts, but the one on my 72 mounts behind the carburetor. I have the steel tubes that are part of the TCS.

The tubes you can buy in the aftermarket do not have the bead on each end. The ones I have do have the bead on each end.

Let me know if you need the steel tube. I will take a look to see what length the 74 BB takes.

Thanks but still looking for this TCS. In 73/74 it attaches to the rear carb bolt. This is only part missing on my car. Got to be one out there somewhere.

I'm sure you have probably seen this already, so what is your take on the quality of the repros?

Lots of places list them but they don't have them. They just want you to call.
