Default Wanted: 1972 Stock appearing 454 engine

Hello,

My name is Michael, and I am looking for a stock appearing 454 engine, early 70s era, preferably 1972. I'm looking for something as complete as possible. Cash in hand. I want s good engine, and am willing to pay a fair price for it. This is going into a 1972 4-speed Corvette.

i am in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

PM me with what you have. I do check my messages frequently.

If you are seriously attempting to locate a period correct complete engine, have you considered also looking for the correct dates, part numbers, and suffix codes?

No. The request is that it look like a stock engine. Owner could care less about the finer details. Just wants to open the hood and see vintage. Obviously this still needs to be a good engine, but it doesn't have to be all number matched.

Contact Bob Lee at Bob's Speed on NW 7 Ave, 954-764-5912. He has more stuff than Carter has pills, and is very fair on his prices.

Default Have to be 454

I have a big block in my 72 right now. A few years back I messed up my original motor. I put this one in the car and have been driving it for a few years.
Now that my original 454 is ready to go back in, this engine is ready to come out.
I no longer have a use for it. It is a late 71, 402, but looks just like my original 454.
I even have original valve covers to put on it, if wanted, but the heads ar the 1970 rectangular high performance heads though.
If you are interested, send me your regular e-mail and I will send pictures.
The nice thing is it is still in the car so you can test drive it.
