Default Vinyl Top

It is in very good condition, and has been garaged.

It is black vinyl, so it will match any paint color. I read it will fit 1968 1969 1970 1971 1972 1973 1974 and 1975 Corvette convertibles.

$1250

I would rather not ship this, for obvious reasons. I am in Janesville, WI 53546. I may be willing to meet part way.

Is it hardtop or hard top?
Do you know what the date is on the rear window and what color and condition is the head liner?

I'm guessing it's from a 68. The stainless tips are not there, and I don't see that the rear center bolt is there.

Not to hi-jack this thread, but do you know which year started with the stainless tips and center rear bolt?

The stainless tips started in 69 and I think it was late 69 that they added the center bolt.

Sorry guys, I forgot to subscribe to this thread, and did not realize there were responses.

I'll look into the date code and headliner. Seems to me it was black, but I have it stored at a friends, so I cannot just go look at it now.

I'm not trying to put out mis-information. The reason I assumed it was the factory 71 top is based on some paperwork that came with the car. Unfortunately, the owner from the 70's to recent passed. So I couldn't ask any questions.
