327 parts for sale
**update** I'll take 500 OBO for all of it....it's time to make room....
I have my CE stamped 1968 block small journal for sale, GM 3892657, it's 030 over. Doesn't look like it was honed with a torque plate, so I would have it torque plate honed another 010 if I were to put it back together. The bearings where down to the copper, not sure why, probably to tight of a clearance or trash left in the oil passages.
I have the pair of Camel hump heads that were on it, they are off memory october 67 and May 68 date code. They were the 1.94 castings but were punched to 2.02. Complete, with valve springs and rocker arms (they are not screw in studs). If I were to use them I would do nothing other than using matching springs for whatever cam I'd run.
I have the factory forged crank, it's 010 under on all, from the looks of it, I would have it re-polished or go another 010. this is a small journal crank.
I also have the rods and pistons. Looks like one rod might be newer, and the pistons are some low buck cast dish pistons. All small journal rods, press on pin.
Motor ran fine, no smoke, didn't burn oil, had about 30 psi idle pressure and 65 at 5000rpms. Took it apart to see what I had. I simply have no use for it at this time in any of my projects. I'm going to an LS motor in the 68, and my other projects/cars already have motors. I'd rather not see it sitting for ever and "rust away" per say.
Please don't ask me for shipping cost, my guess is as good as yours (use ups/Fedex quote if you need too, my zip is 29420).
