Will consider any condition. Used for 1970 LS-5 BB AC cars.

Alternator 1100884 62A. Would prefer Nov or Dec 1969 dated

Thx

Would this work for you?

If so, maybe we can help each other out.

Don you are one very lucky man to have found that 884 alternator in one day and in your State no less. Go out and buy a lottery ticket because that is the equivalent of finding that alternator with your date code. I hope that he is fair with you on the price so that you can get it.

I about fell out of my chair as well. but timing is everything I guess. He just happened to see my post somehow.

At any rate, I apparently have a very rare one on my car so I may be able to do the same for someone else. I've got a 1100 900 Dec dated

The 884 is a hard to find alternator and expensive but I do not know the application for the 900 that you have. In any event it looks like you found what you need. Very nice car that you have.

I was routinely checking to see if someone may have posted up a part for my 1970 that I've been looking for and the "1100-884" caught my eye.

LS-5 non A/C car.

What Don is showing is exactly what's on my 1970 now. This would have even been more bizarre, if I had read his post and I was searching for a DEC. 1100-900 at the same time he was looking for the DEC. 1100-884. Fortunately, I've already been through that hunt.

That would have been one of the crazier coincidences I've ever heard in my life.

Great find for both of you. 884s are rare, people who want 884s with the right date code are also rare. Hope you both work it out.
