Default WTB. or help with 1972 TH400 swap to m-20 crossmember

Hey,
My friend working on the 72 th400 to m-20 swap just told me the crossmember for the auto is different then the standard. I thought they were the same? Anyone have one?

Oh ya the difference in the cross members is one is removable and one is not. The auto cross member is the removable one.

we just finished ours and you will also have to weld on the two little brackets that mount to the trans mount bracket you are adding.

there are to small brackets welded to the standard 4 speed cross member. the auto cross member doesn't have them. I made mine out of angle iron. zips selsl them but they had no stock on them. you can mount the trans bracket with out them but I didn't.
