My lower driver seat bucket has shattered from recent transport (hauler really LEANED back in the seat that already had a crack in it). The seat bucket is beyond repair in my opinion.

Specs:

Driver side - Lower fiberglass bucket
Doeskin (I can probably repaint to match)
1980 L48

I have the adjusting hardware, track and hinges. Just need the lower bucket in good condition and not cracked.

I don't need the seat (leather cover or foam). I replaced them back in 2004 and they are good as new.

anybody with a lower bucket from 79-82? I don't have power adjustment.

I can repaint. Just can't be cracked or broken/missing the key items that would come with.

I'll also check the new/replacement bucket prices.

It isn't cheap but it is brand new. Corvette Mods gave me 7% off and free shipping to boot. $300 and arrives 5-7 business days. Includes the new bucket bottom and the spray paint (doeskin) to match it. I will probably sand/paint the top to match. May even repaint the passenger side clam if I get industrious.

Online prices for aged/damaged was running about $100 and I was still going to have to repaint. This way, I transfer my hinge hardware, add some new fasteners to hinge and get a stable base for the seat.

And, I get to drive the beast once again!!!
