Yes thank you to all looking at this thread, and willing to help fellow forum members save on shipping bulky items. I will be willing to meet anyone that is leaving from the Philly area and going as far West of Iowa area I80, however if you are only going as far as Chicago and depending if we can meet over a weekend.

Pick up from John (Philly/Montgomeryville) to Tom (Hiawatha, Ia (I80))

Thanks in advance for looking and considerations.

I'm near the intersection of Interstate 80 and Interstate 15. We don't travel much, just go on trips a couple times a year.
HOWEVER... I'd be willing to be a staging point to make a transfer easier. I don't have a lot of space in my garage, but I could find a place out of the weather for a couple days if it would help. Just a thought.

That could be a consideration, lets see what comes up in the coming weeks.

Kind Regards

Default Run Being Planned Now

I am planning a run October 21-23.

My current planned route is from Easton, PA on I-78 to I-81 through Harrisburg, Carlisle PA. From Carlisle I will continue down I-81 through Hagerstown, MD; through West Virginia and into Virginia as far as Middleton, Virginia. I will then be cutting back on I-66 Southeast as far as Highway 17 South to Fredericksburg, VA. I will turn South from Fredericksburg on I-95 to Richmond and on to Petersburg, VA. From Petersburg I will head Southwest on I-85 to Henderson, NC.

I will be traveling with my large trailer and will be dropping off a frame in West Virginia and picking up doors, t-tops, hood, and bumpers there as well. I will be delivering interior trim parts to North Carolina on this run as well. I will be picking up an engine in NC and bringing it back home with me.

If you have something heading to or from Eastern PA to or from Northeastern NC, Eastern VA, North Eastern WV, or Northern MD we can arrange a meeting on or near the Interstates mentioned above.

Let me know if you have something that needs to move.

Best regards,

David Howard

Default Drop off point

And if your schedule doesn't allow meeting on the date he is coming through, I have room you can come and drop the parts off early until David comes through in Henderson, NC.

I do this on another forum I'm on, and it's been done for a long time.

Just like there, I'm in here also. Tucson, AZ. Retired and don't travel that much, at least for now, but I'm in!!!

My trip to West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina came off without a hitch and I had a great meal with my friends in North Carolina and a good nights sleep there as well before heading back home.

Dennis Burdick also got a chance to meet up with Jonathan in Henderson, NC on his way through from VA to GA so it was a win-win.

I will be heading to West Virginia again in December, date not yet set, but will be sure to post it here and willing to move stuff to help others out.

I might be making a trip South to Florida in February, dates not confirmed yet, but will let you know when that comes together as well.

Hope all are doing well.

With that inventory sitting there I would be stuck there for hours. If he has a 69 convertible top in decent shape I have a friend that would be interested. If after you visit you think he has a nice inventory of items we should know about please let me know. I love driving.
Thank you Steve.
