Default New Trip Planned

I will be flying to Maui in early September and I am willing to carry some small items with me if it helps someone in Hawaii get parts cheaper.

Let me know if I can assist any forum members please.

Thank you.

Default October Road Trip Planned

My wife and I will be traveling down to Hilton Head, SC in late October, and then from Hilton Head down to Southwestern Florida. We will be taking out 17 Corvette so we won't have a ton of room but we can move an item or items South from PA to WV, VA, NC, SC, GA, or FL on our way North from FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, or WV, back up to PA on our way back North. We typically head I-78 to I-81 to I-77 to Charlotte on day one. From Charlotte we will head down I-77 to I-26 to I-95. If you are along that route let me know if I can help you with some transportation.

Thank you.

Anyone heading East across interstate 80. I'm in SLC (about 5 miles from the interstate) and have a urethane bumper that may need to go to Indianapolis, Indiana.

Default Shipping Help

Anyone traveling from the Penn, Ohio, Maryland, Virginia out west. I have a block and a few other parts I need to transport to CA. You don't have to deliver all the way to CA. I have several friends throughout the country you could drop off the items on your way. Definitely able to pay for you gas and time, just trying to save a little via the normal transportation companies.

Thanks,
Jim

Default Lima, OH Assistance Requested

Nice pair of Wheels located in Lima, OH. Three are mounted with tires, on is bare wheel only. Going to try and move them from Lima area up to Pembina, ND. (Interstate 29) If we can get them as far as Fargo, ND I am certain we can get them picked up from there. Other possibilities might include Minneapolis, MN. (I-94 at I-35); or Sioux Falls, SD. (I-29 at I-90).

Other option may be to have a known Corvette owner in the Lima area be able to pick them up, have them dismounted without damage, pack them and ship them. All costs would be paid for by the buyer. Buyer is concerned about dismounting because of possible damage if the shop does not do it correctly, we all can relate to that.

If you can help in some or any way please contact me by PM and we can put you in touch with the buyer to see what we might be able to do to help him.

My Celina, OH relatives are wintering in FL or we would have them picked up already.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Best regards,

David Howard

Default Holiday Hub If You Need It

I am located between Interstate 78 and Interstate 80 on the Eastern edge of Pennsylvania, very near the PA/NJ border. I'm about an 90 minutes North of Philadelphia; about 90 minutes West of Newark; about 30 minutes from Allentown which means I-95; I-80; I-78; I-83; I-76; I-276; and I-476 are all within two hours of my location.

I am willing and able to serve as a central hub for the exchange of parts for forum members if you need one. I have some storage here that can be used to hold something for a couple of days when arrangements can be made to pick item up.

Thanksgiving may be too close to help you much but if you are traveling during the Christmas Holiday or any time in the New Year and you think I can help just PM me and I will see what I can do to assist you.

Happy Thanksgiving; Merry Christmas; and Happy New Year to you all.

Default East/West/East Trip Coming

I will be traveling from my home in Easton, PA to the Dayton, OH area in the middle of the month of February.

Dates and times being worked on now.

I am pulling my 24' car hauler behind my Silverado 2500HD truck to deliver an engine/transmission/differential and to retrieve a rolling chassis.

I will have room both ways.

Total trip length is 550 miles and will follow the I-78; I-81; I-76; I-70, I-75 routes. I will most likely split the trip up into three days for convenience.

If you are in or near Dayton, OH; Columbus, OH; Zanesville, OH; Wheeling, WV; New Stanton, PA; Carlisle, PA; Harrisburg, PA; Allentown, PA; or Easton, PA and you need something large, bulky, etc moved along that route this may be your chance.

Contact me to discuss further please and I hope I can help one or more of you out during this trip.

Thank you and best regards,

David Howard

Got a 350 small block in the shop right now getting reconditioned.
Have an interested buyer over in Arkansas.
Could use help to save him shipping costs.
Be ready in a couple of weeks.
Have another 2 bolt 350 SBC virgin bore #3970010 ready to go to shop after first one is done.
Think about that one too.
It is listed in my for sale thread regards 383 engine parts.
