Default Shipping as transporting parts

there is a website called yesterday’s tractors. They have a hauling schedule that is just what your looking for. Bunch of guys into tractors and parts, much like us into corvettes and parts. They post if they are heading somewhere and have room in their truck or trailers. Lots of times they are just looking to cover their gas money. I’ve used it several times.

Anyone going to the MCACN show in Illinois on Nov 17 from the East Coast?
I found a set of rare snowflake heads for my LS6 that I would rather entrust to a fellow member than UPS.
Any space on a trailer coming back East?
TIA

Just a couple of rules:

2) It has to be able to safely travel in my checked baggage.
3) It cannot be a flammable, or hazardous material to travel on an aircraft.

If I can help out let me know.
Best regards,

I can fit in your luggage and I am not flammable but have been known to be hazardous.
Can I come?

Have a great trip David. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Tammy!

Update: the rear end has been taken care of- still have the heads and intake to move - I can get those parts to Phoenix also.

Gentlemen and ladies, Thorpe has posted a need to get a 1969 frame moved from Warminster, PA (North of Philadelphia) to central North Carolina. It is posted in the C-3 general section. If anyone can help him out please let him know. I have moved a bunch of items on that route and it’s a nice run. Thanks and best regards, David

Space available: NYC to NJ to Carlilse, PA

If I can help anyone out, I'll be heading to Long Island, NY this weekend and then to Spring Carlilse, Pa in a couple weeks.
Could take my car, pickup or minivan, and will be almost empty.

I have my empty pickup and open car hauler heading from the Richmond, VA area back up to the Easton, PA area this weekend, August 31st.
If you have something South, heading North, I may be able to help you get it heading in the right direction.
Late notice I know, but if I can help let me know as soon as possible.
Best regards,
David Howard

I like the idea and actually was going to suggest is as well. I think it would be reasonable to have the ability to buy shipping through the 3 major venders. Maybe discounted ; )

Package the item, weight it, provided dimensions and purchase a shipping label. Drop the package off at the shipping counter. Similar to how its done on Ebay.

Be great!

I am not selling items at the show but I am picking items up, and dropping items off, to buyers and from sellers at the show. If you need something, say something please.
Let me know if I can help.

I just wanted to take this time to thank the men and women that move products around the Country for us during this rough and tumble year.
Though many have stayed home or near their homes, I live near Interstate Highways I-78; I-80; and I-81 and have been on each of them lately.
The trucking industry is up and running and keeping products moving and I for one am very appreciative of their efforts.
Stay well, stay safe, see you in 2021.

I'm bringing my son back to school in Orono, Maine on the 20th of January and will be returning (heading south) with an empty pickup truck along the I-95 corridor midday after the drop off. The truck will be mostly full of his school stuff heading north on the 19th but I can probably move something as large as a differential on the northern run to school. If it helps someone move parts along/ partway along, let me know. I can store them in Brookline, NH while you coordinate the next step south.
Mike

University of Maine, cool. Been there a couple of times back when I was meeting with the Lobster Institute which resides on Campus. Nice place and a nice offer from you Mike to help out. Safe travels up and back sir.
Best regards,
David

Work has me heading up to Cutler, Maine on April 11th and returning home on the 21st. Travel up will be from Brookline, NH along 101 to 95 to the Bangor/Orono area (planning to stop in and have lunch with my son up at UMaine) and then heading east along Route 9. The return trip will be down Rt 1 towards Bar Harbor and then back along the 95/101 corridors. Have about 1/2-3/4 of a pickup truck bed available. Let me know if I can help move something along for you.

I'll be spending a considerable amount of time in Cutler, Maine this summer from July through October. The plan is to head home (south central NH) every other weekend and spend the odd weekend in the Orono/ Old Town, Maine area. I'll have a mostly empty pickup available for each run along the I-95/Rt 101 corridors if I can help you move a part along.
