Default WTB - 69 wiring harness

Hi:

I'm new to this site.
I recently purchased a 69 convertible Stingray that had an engine fire and so I have some work ahead of me.
For starters, I'm looking for a deal on a complete harness (interior as well as engine compartment).

Anyone want to part with theirs?

If so, PM me please.

Thanks,

Hi Ds,
Welcome! First post!
There are 4 separate harnesses in a 69.
Front Lighting.
Engine
Dash
Rear Lighting
The 4 meet up at the fuse block on the firewall….2 on the engine compartment side and 2 on the interior side.
So be careful you get the ones you need for your repairs.
I also caution you to be careful what you buy since you don't want to end up with another fire… used harnesses are sometimes available because they've been chopped up so much or are in poor condition so have been replaced with new.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

Thanks Alan and thanks for the wiring info.
I will take another look at the car to determine if I need all 4 or not, but I'm pretty sure I'll only need the first three you mentioned.
I will definitely be careful to inspect all harnesses and affect necessary repairs as needed prior to installation.
Really appreciate the help!

Alan is correct. Harnesses are specific to the car as it left the factory as well.
I have a front lamp and an engine harness for a 69. They are for a 350 4speed without ac. The front lamp has one damaged fiber optic. The engine harness has a fusibe link that needs repair. $150 for the pair and I'll include shipping.

Thanks Boswell.

In this case, I have a SB 350, auto with air so as good of a deal that is, I don't think that's the right harness for me.

Thanks for the help!

Default Trying this again

I'm still in need of some replacement harnesses for my 69 if anyone can help.
Specifically, I have a:
  • 350cu/300hp SBC
  • Automatic
  • with AC
I'm looking for:
  • Front lighting
  • Engine
  • Dash
Harnesses.

Many thanks
