The hood is not a factory hood but I believe it was replaced sometime in the 70's. The car was originally a l-46 car and it has a warranty block with a 1974 date code. The intake is a 69 z-28 winters intake which leads me to believe that the hood was put on when the motor was replaced in the 70's. The car also has fender flares. With all of that being said, I am just speculating on the origin of the hood. The hood fits very good and the gaps are in line with factory gaps. It is not bowed and all of the surfaces are even with the fenders. There are no major cracks in the hood either. I really only want to trade for a BB hood because I need something to put back on. I would go $800 on the hood. The hood is a short hood and no it does not have the z bar in the cowl.
