I need the two back deck latches where the top latches. The car is an early (900) produced in September 1967.

hi ernie, I have a very nice pair of latches from a 74 vert. I checked the catalogs and they list the same part for 68 to 75. if interested e-mail to collins48@woh.rr.com and I will send you pics. price is 150.00 + ship. they are complete with chrome bezels and gaskets. thanks jerry

Actually, they're not. Early 1968 Corvettes (up to approx Feb of 1968) used latch 3915785 and 3915786 (see top picture attached). These had the spring in the middle as opposed to late 1968-1975 which used the 3942775 and 3942776 latches, which had the spring on the side (again, see bottom picture attached).

Thanks, but I need the springs on the side. I'm now going to try and purchase asset of the springs because mine are fine but for the broken springs. Thanks anyway. Ernie

The springs on the side were used late 1968 through 1975, so Jerry's will work for you. The springs in the middle are the touch ones to find because they were used only early 1968.
