They were on my 73 when I got it. Car only had 18k miles on it. These tires were always garaged. Although these would never be considered daily driver tires due to their age and rarity, they would be perfect for shows and where originality is a concern. $400 obo, no shipping. I am located in Colonial Beach, VA.

They'll fit any 15x7 or 15x8. Stock size on 73 to 82. Correct brand and make for 78 to 82.

They are old. Pre-2000. The date code appears to be 44W. Whatever that means. I would not use them for everyday driving unless it was putting around town or for shows. Figured whoever may want or need them would be in order to have period-correct, usable tires for those purposes.

You have the size listed as 225/60/15, I think you mean 225/70/15 for stock size...they look like 70's...

I threw out 4 of them when I purchased my car in 2011.
They were on there sine the 80's.
Very... Very unsafe to drive on!!!!
Mine were like petrified wood they were that hard.
If I had a low mileage pace car and had to have period correct tires for judging then these would complete the bill.
Just make sure potential buyer knows these tires have not been made since the late 80's and are not safe for daily driving.
Just don't want to see any one get hurt, not trying to kill a sale for you.

Your right. Normally I would have thrown them out when I got the car. But they are still soft and pliable, with no cracking. Perfect for someone for car shows, or for collectability. If someone does not take them soon, they will end up in a land fill or recycled soon.
