It is the original compressor off my '70 350/300, I don't know if the '71 was different.
I did a bench test and do believe it's in working order, it made good compression and the clutch grabs when applying 12v.
Although I don't know exactly how well it works because the AC was removed before I bought the car and I never reinstalled it, I believe its been off since 2001, but probably saw a good 30 years of use/wear.
Shipping to SF is no problem.
And yes I dropped the price to 89.99 from 100.
