1976 Alarm system hardware parts needed
#21
Did you find #3 and #4? I am probably going to put a Viper alarm on my car, I'll try to look on my car to see if these are even on the car. If my car has these parts I certainly could live without them. Let me look on my car....

Brother, I had some family drama over the past couple weeks, completely forgot about checking. Today is car day, I'll see what the old girl has in it today. I really apologize, but things got kinda turned upside down for a bit. Lemme see what I have for you.

Man, I apologize! I thought I already replied to you.... I have the keylock on one side of the fender, and (from your drawing) the shield on the other. There isn't anything from this assembly on mine. I was so disappointed when i did look a while back, I guess I just forgot to let you know. Sorry for the suspense, but my car has nothing but the empty shield or bracket.

#4 is a "thinner" than normal nut. I know a standard width will not fit with the washer. Probably a find a local hardware store.
I'm doing a 76 now, here's a pic i just took for your reference.

Isn't this switch the same one used in the head lights? My '76 doesn't have them in the headlamps but I have seen this part in an assembly manual. I'm not remembering at the moment where I've seen it though.
