F/S: Running Engine
No longer for sale. Thank you for looking.
I removed this from a 1975 and it was running when I removed it one month ago. Gordon was with me when I ran it, needed carburetor adjustment but sounded good. Engine has 57,000 miles on it. (NOTE: I have a video of the engine running if you need proof that it runs. I can put it up on U-Tube if you want to see it.)
Block number is 3970010.
Date Code is K124, November 12, 1974. (Correct of the 1975).
Engine stamp is CHB, 350/165, AT
I have it sitting on Z-Legs now and I have removed the carburetor (still here), the distributor (still here) and the headers (given away).
If you are looking to rebuild an engine this is a great candidate. Take it apart, put a cam in, maybe change out the heads for some aluminum if you want to build some power, put a nice carburetor on it, and get it back on the road.
Flexplate for automatic on it, easily removed if you want to bolt it up to a manual transmission.
I was going to rebuild and put it in the 75 frame I have but frame is toast, so the project is as well.
$350 will get the engine as is. I will leave it on the Z-legs for you to transport.
If I get no takers by Spring I will rebuild it myself. Trying not to be tempted to dig into it until my Racer is done.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
David Howard

No longer available, thank you for looking.
I will include these headers with purchase of engine, free of additional charge. I have gaskets and connectors that go with these as well. They are painted gloss black and are steel.
Thank you for looking.

The 75 engine was sold on Craigslist. Thanks for asking. David
