I have the steering box from my 72 for sale, $150.00 you pay shipping. its been rebuilt with new bearings and seals by myself. Its tight and works well. I used the original worm and sector, as they had wear, but not overly so.

Is that an original 72 part as I'm not sure of what the casting number is for these? Whereabouts are you too?

Absolutely original to my personal 72. There wasnt much of any rust whatsoever on the part and it cleaned up nicely. The gears were in good shape overall. So I installed one of those rebuild kits that sell for $80.
