All, I have repaired mine for the last time. It is toast. Looking for a lower dash pad for a 69 that is in good shape. Black interior. thanks in advance

Still looking for the left lower dash pad for a 69. Black and in good shape. Has anyone ever dyed a red one? Will it match. Thanks

Hi Steve. I dyed a red one for my 1977 black interior and it worked well for me. The key is to get it cleaned well and prepare the surface for the dye. They make a "dye prep" spray to help prepare the surface and it works well. If I had a donor I would give it to you but I don't at this time. I always say to use your own part first if you can, but if you cannot then get another donor part and restore it. The after market parts are good for some items, not all, so donor would be the way I would go if you can.

Good luck with your search.

David
