1980 rear end 3.55 gear
I have 2 of the batwing rear ends, 1 is a standard unit that probably has the 3.07 gear, definitely a highway gears. This rearend had new seals and gaskets, polybushings in the batwing, put in it about 5 years ago and I put 500 miles on it before installing the other rearend for more performance. $250.00 plus shipping/freight
Batwing rear has 3.55 gears, I purchased used out of a wrecked show vette. The guy had purchased it from a well know rebuilder in the midwest with the better gear, the tag fell off and I can't remember the company name. My mechanic pulled the cover, installed new seals and gasket, new fluid and positraction additive just like the first and said the ring gear and pinion were in superb shape with very little wear. I put about 1500 miles on the rear end before the wreck. Pics are of this rear end. $400.00 plus shipping/freight.
