Default 75 differential

1975 differential pumpkin, $300.00 Plus shipping. I'll climb under there and get the numbers off it when I'm feeling a bit more limber.
Shipping will be from Salt Lake City, UT.

There should be some stamping on the underside of it that tell you what it is!

Just trying to save you some headache with a mod.
If you want to know how much it is worth look at ebay for guidelines and also at sales here in the forum.

Without pics of inside condition and posting of the ID marks you will be lucky to get an offer, lowball at best.

If you pull the cover you can see on the ring gear the ratio.....it will be something like 9:37 or 9-37 for a 4.11, etc. etc. Numbers on the outside case will only tell you what it had originally from the factory. After 40yrs it may have been changed a time or 2.

GLWS (good luck with sale)....oh I meant good luck getting info in case you come across one for sale......

BTW....last one I sold here was $300 + shipping. Have sold them on ebay for $400-500.

Mods just try to do their thankless job,
While there IS a rule about posting a price in sales section the original post is a question, a more courteous reply might have been to suggest posting in general to get an idea of value which people do a lot

They are worth $300 at a swap meet. Some can sell for more if they have someone willing to install them as is and go. I pay $300 for them as a core.

Did you get it out yet. Need to look it over really good. The last one I just bought was cracked so it's junk. I posted something in the transaction feedback called **buyer beware** it will show you what to look for.

My wife and I just returned from a vacation and I haven't had a chance to climb under my donor car.
The yard needs some attention since we were gone for almost 2 weeks so I doubt that I'll get to it in the next day or two, but I'll post pictures and relevant information when I'm done.
I may have a local differential shop go through it, just to give potential buyers a little peace of mind.

I sold the entire parts car, as it sits. So the differential is gone.

Now you will be looking for another donor car. Isn't it always the way. Congratulations on selling it and best regards,
David

But hopefully I won't be needing another differential.
